Steel welded mesh

Welded meshes are composed of cold-drawn bars (smooth or ribbed) with strictly determined mechanical characteristics. The diameter of the smooth bar is 4/10,5 mm and the diameter of the ribbed bar is 4/8 mm. The meshes consist of bars set out in longitudinal and transverse directions and welded using electro-resistant welding.

The application of welded reinforcing meshes is particularly significant in:

  •   Civil engineering (roads, bridges, airports, tunnels, supports)
  •   Building foundations, walls, stairs, plates, stirrups for beams and pillars, floors
  •   Hydro-technical applications (weirs, pipes and channels, collectors)
  •   The manufacture of reinforced and concreted elements and other steel products

Steel fiber

In most cases, fiber applications have great advantages over traditionally reinforced concrete. By means of homogeneous distribution in concrete, steel fibre generates a 3-D load-bearing structural arrangement, which allows it to withstand various tensional strains and to prevent the opening of microscopic cracks resulting from load forces and moisture within concrete.

EN 14889-1
TU U V.2.7-28.7-00191046-015: 2007

Application: industrial floors, roads, airports, sprayed concrete for mining, wall constructions, road base reinforcement, underwater concrete, protective structures and other uses.

PACKING

Fibre FZ, FV and FPL is packed into cardboard boxes of 20kg, 25kg, 30kg or “big-bags” of 1,000kg. Boxes or “big-bags” are stowed on 1,200 X 1,000mm pallets. The net weight of the fibre on the pallet is 1,000 – 1,200kg.

At the request of the customer, is it possible to supply all kinds of fibre in other kinds of packing.

When packing the fibre into the boxes, oriented stowage is possible. This prevents fibre from caking during the production of the construction mixture and concrete, thus reducing construction expenses.
